The Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) is promoting mental health and breast cancer awareness. Sanitation and Occupational Safety and Health Unit recently conducted the event dubbed “FAB Health Matters: Mental Health and Breast Cancer Awareness Program” among its employees held at AFAB Administration Building. The event was held in observance of World Mental Health Day and Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The program aimed to raise awareness among employees about the importance of mental health and breast cancer prevention.
It highlighted policies and initiatives designed to protect and support the health and well-being of workers. AFAB Public Health Consultant Dr. Noel Bernardo and Dr Ruby Lynda T. Reyes of Mariveles Mental Wellness and General Hospital led the activity.
